The Kohler Visual Neuroscience Laboratory presented five posters at the Vision Sciences Society conference, May 15th-20th, 2026. The five posters were presented by Nikan Movahedi, Aurore Maloh, Chi Dao, Alejandro Garcia and Prof. Peter J. Kohler on topics related to symmetry perception and perceptual grouping. Aurore, Chi and Alejandro attended for the first time, while Nikan returned to VSS after his talk in 2024. All posters were very well attended and received lots of good feedback. Everyone had a great time engaging in meaningful discussions at VSS, attending talks and poster sessions, and connecting with other members of the vision science community. The lab also had a fun time during Demo Night, which provided an excellent opportunity for vision scientists to test visual displays, experience exciting optical illusions, and explore interactive demonstrations from across the field.
